The fix for the crabby...

Well...there was certainly NO reason for me to be crabby this evening..none at all...It was a great day...The award from Beth...all the Easter food shopping done..a crisp day and my mother had probably the best day since Christmas...and my excuse is what?  Well it started with the computer..I am terrible at the computer and I could not do a link like everyone else seems to be able to do and I cannot figure out my Flickr.  In fact until my daughter sized my picture for me, I couldn't even follow people because I would just be a shadow. Then my iron broke and the new dog chased the old cats with hissing everywhere...OMG, the funk was on.  In the great
big picture, this is nothing at all. Of course not!  With all the life and death issues of the past 9 months..I think I am crazy.  (And, there is no Halloween candy:)(and the M&M's are gone).  I found a CD of Johnny Cash...but nooo, that did not do it either...with songs about prison and Good Lord...no, it did not do it.  Finally I listened to my own advice and just did it the Nike way...I sat down to my machine and just did it.  I took one of the basted flannel tops from last week and sat down and sewed.  The beautiful hum of my Janome 6600..mmmmmm...I felt back in control..I am a new woman...and a cuddle quilt is done!

Great quilt! I had a day like that on Sunday...service icon on my sewing machine started blinking (I do not want to give it up for a week or more!) and the my iron broke, too! What is up in the iron world? Happily, I ran out and bought a replacement and I like it even more than the old broken one, so that made it a happy accident!

Nothing like stitching to soothe the Savage Beast!
