Muggs' Ship Blocks...awaiting their lattice...hmmm

Muggs' boat blocks for her beach house quilt.
Looking for lattice.
Thinking orange... or yellow:)  Just thinking...Others are thinking black...me no like..too gloomy.
Muggs wants to put them in the order of holidays..I want to put them in order of value.
Muggs will make the ultimate decision tomorrow night.
What do you think??.

How do I decide when to go to bed?
Let's see...
When I am hysterical?
When I am eating too many Oreos?
When I am furious that these children's formative years were so unstable to leave lasting pain?
When despair is upon me without my dear man?
When it is 11pm???
Children were so naughty tonight..
They have sad hearts..
Oh...this is the time for bed...Even I know it now.

I like orange-red for the boats & balanced by value.
It has been a beastly few years at the O'Quilts' household. Generous helpings of grief for all. At least you, as an adult have more emotional tools in your belt for dealing. Not so much for the little ones. But they have such a firm foundation of love from you & from Mr. O'Quilts that I have no doubts about their future. Hang in there sweetheart. And go to bed.

You are doing the best you can for the grandies and for you. Remember to put the oxygen mask on yourself first, so you can then help the kiddoes.

I love the thought of orange for sashing. Balanced colours as well. You and your dear man have given the grandies the best possible chance of making their way in life. I wish you would cut yourself some slack, you are doing all that is humanly possible. Yes, they too will have days when they struggle. I hope you have more positive days soon.
Hugs

Orange is my favourite colour so you know that gets my vote. That shark block makes me laugh every time. There's nothing as exasperating as naughty children but it's part of being young I think, testing the waters, at least you understand their motivation. Hugs to you all.

Hello Dear, You do not know me. I saw your note on Carol's blog {just let me quilt}. I will pray for you. You have a lot of love and support here. Stay healthy. There is no timeline for grief. As a matter of fact, you never stop grieving, you just learn to live with it. Take very good care of yourself. You are loved.
