It is a Sunday night and .....

The friendship tray outreach from CMQG is  most rewarding.
To someone else's orphan block, I added the green stripe, the batting and the back to make
the placemat.... 12.5x16.5.
Interesting, quick, useful and happy.

Fighting Christmas despair without my love.  First Christmas..ugh
Trying to quell the waves by making potholders.
A better fix seemed to be when I found Evan's peppermint Oreos.
I swallowed them all whole.  ALL of them.
Poor Evan...cannot even trust his grandma.

Alas...I still feel despair ...
Plus an uneasy stomach..
Plus an uneasy conscience.

Jeeze, Mrs. O'Quilts....Indeed, what is wrong with you???

It's going to be a hard week for you - some chocolate might just help you get through a tough moment, some sewing or fabric selecting might also help, just for a moment. Xx

Poor Evan, I'm sure he will understand and you can always replace them. Keep making the pot holders and have a store of choccies hidden in your sewing room.
Hugs

You chose some beautiful fabric for the backing. Surrounding yourself with beautiful colours and patterns (like in these fabrics) can be helpful to focus on the positive. It's good you have some good friends and family around too.
