Glory in the Day

Nothing better than sewing...Calming my soul.  Last night a meltdown, today glory.
Here is the next stage in my scrap Cotton and Steel.
Nothing  better than teaching.  Kids wrote thank you cards and picked out the paper for envelopes.
They watched me make the envelopes....learning..
Lynsey learned where the stamps go and wrote the return address labels herself.
They are so proud of their cards...off they went into the mailbox.
Dylan's birthday on the 27 of February...followed quickly today by...
Happiest birthday to my beautiful and smart and wonderful Emily xxoo yo yo ma!
We had  lunch out and dinner out and wedding talks and laughs...
Nothing better than that!!!!!

What a lovely photo of Emily! and a birthday. You certainly have a slew of birthdays one after the other! And I LOVE the cotton and steel progress. Your colors and textures are so rich. Hope today is another good day.
