As the World Turns

Happy 32nd birthday, son.
We had a great visit yesterday,
You were in wonderful shape
I am grateful.
Your new boss called me last night
He told me that you were the best worker ever.
I am proud.
I had a lovely dinner last night with Ms Katie.
She is 3 months a widow, feeling this pain that never goes away.
It did not keep us from having a a night out and a few laughs.
I came  home to start sewing... Around midnight, I was finishing these postcards when I put the sewing machine needle right through the nail of my index finger.
I went to the bathroom to remove the needle and find the Peroxide where....
I promptly fell backwards on the big white tiles of the big bathroom floor.
Could not get up
Where is my man??????
I need him.
Nothing broken   TBTG
Everything hurts...
Today it all hurts worse.
I had to scream to wake up Evan who helped me up
I know It could have been worse.
But I am feeling sorry for my sad self.
Very sorry.

What a day you had!! I'm happy to read that you had a good visit with your son, he does look well and the children all look happy. I'm guessing you have one heck of a sore finger and the rest of you is probably still hurting like crazy. Yes, the outcome could have been much worse when you hit those tiles, thank goodness it wasn't. Hope like heck that the pain and soreness quickly improves.

Oh, my. That's an adventure you could have lived without! I'm glad you had some other high points from the day before you arrived at your midnight mis-adventure! I love the photo of your son and his children. Treasure the good moments in your heart. Hugs.

Oh Diane - I am SO sorry about your accidents! Running a needle through one's nail is bad enough, but falling backwards too? Do take care of yourself, take time to heal if you can. I hope your pain goes away quickly.

Take good care! xoxo

Ellen.

Glad for a good birthday meet-up with your son. I hope he's able to hold his life together.
Your fall is very, very scary! Did you avoid hitting your head (not that the other parts don't matter too!)?

Your son looks strong & healthy -- hoping, hoping he has found it in himself to maintain it.
Oh no! A needle through your finger! Do you suppose you fainted when you fell? I am grateful for your little people in your house, they help you so much.
Be well.
