Hope Lynsey improves quickly! At least she does have a sweet smile on her face. Well, not long now before you have your new shoulder and after a few weeks have passed I'm sure you will be much more comfortable.
I too have noticed that a lot of bloggers, whose posts I looked forward to, are now with Instagram, one of the things about blogging are the stories and "conversations" to he enjoyed!
Now, if I don't find a chance to be in touch before your surgery know that I shall be thinking of you and wishing you well and a speedy recovery to soon be back home again!

Love your hedgehog ~ ~ what a fun block and quilt it will become. And so sorry your Lynsey is so sick. My grans have had it too (and their Mama) so I am praying you make it through your surgery without it!!!

Blogging vs instagram. I've resisted instagram and sooo miss my blogging friends. I've finally sorted it out in my head ~ ~ blogging is about who we are and what we think and feel. Instagram is what we've done. And we are sooo much more than photos of projects. I love the sense of camaraderie of reading blogs and interacting. Thanks for being "brave"!! I look forward to our visits.

Love your Hazel Hedgehog block! Sorry Lyndsey is sick - I hope you can avoid it so it doesn't interfere with your surgery! And good luck with the surgery! I hope you heal easily and quickly, and are home again soon. I'll be thinking of you!

Yes, I've gone to IG, but I haven't forgotten my blog completely. It seem to be harder to post lately - I'm too busy, somehow. I always plan to do it, but then something happens and my time slips away from me. IG is a very quick post, but you're right, there is not the personal connection there, and that is what I love about blogging.

Wishing you the best with your surgery and for a speedy recovery. Not fun when our parts wear out--but a lot better than 25-50 years ago.
Also hoping the flu-girl recovers quickly and that no one else gets it!
