With the layout you have with no block in the center, why not try a big square of an African fabric print.Exuberantcolor/Wanda S Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00064308660138307797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7773094311026970819.post-53501747735025275402022-01-25T17:56:54.164-05:002022-01-25T17:56:54.164-05:00When I have a seemingly useless number of odd blo...When I have a seemingly useless number of odd blocks, I almost always make a table runner (8 blocks) or baby quilt..janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02518273425560173339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7773094311026970819.post-67876712699462835222022-01-25T15:27:54.330-05:002022-01-25T15:27:54.330-05:00For the pineapple blocks, I like the arrangement y...For the pineapple blocks, I like the arrangement you have without one in the center! Maybe you could find something in your stash that could go in the center, like a similar low volume or yellow. I'm sure it would be fun to try with a bold green or red center, too. It would be really cool to have some fancier quilting in the center that mimics the lines of the pineapples.<br />Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02938567764002827868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7773094311026970819.post-22220286766842951462022-01-25T09:42:19.501-05:002022-01-25T09:42:19.501-05:00For me, a squirrel is an idea or thought that dera...For me, a squirrel is an idea or thought that derails what I had planned. Sometimes it is a photo, sometimes something I find or someone gave to me. It comes out of nowhere and takes over, pushing the planned out of the way. I am not a real squirrel fan as they come and wreak havoc in my yard and garden, but they come regardless rushing in just like the quilt squirrels.Linda Swanekamphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07291121742617818637noreply@blogger.com
