I was so glad I went. Saw so many friends and actually felt a bit human again.
Little Lynsey has an impulsive naughty mouth. I ask her if she does this at school.
No..she says somberly, I would get on Rowdy Red and you would be called and I would be embarrassed.
It is IN me at school, she says, but I save it till I get home and feel safe.
Smart Lynsey...I think all my grands have AD/HD like their father..
Yesterday was visitation with their father.
Chrystal Meth does a job on an addict.
I was so anxious about it. I love him so and it is hard to watch him go down.
Kids were thrilled, noticing nothing askew.
We met at McDonald's playground for an hour or so.
I brought my sister, niece and Stephanie with me for support.
This takes a lot out of me emotionally, but it is the right thing to do.
To cheer us...work is starting on the Christmas present from Granddaddy and me.
A tree house...soooo much fun.
I am so pleased you were able to attend the fun with your friends. Your grand children are so lucky to have you on their side, showing them the way. As adults we make our own decisions but you are giving them a wonderful role model.

I'm glad you had support for the visit with your son xx
ReplyDeleteYou are completely amazing! This entry covers so many things it's hard to know what to comment. So I simply say again, You are amazing. Those children are very blessed to have you and you to have them. Thank you as always, for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDiane - It was so lovely to see you at the guild dinner this past week. I hope that some day when I quit working I can come and visit you and dig through your scrap pile like we did in that quilt class together in the back of the room... with your suitcase overflowing. :-) Pot holders are wonderful things to make when you have either limited time, or limited energy for planning. And you have lovely, interesting bits of this and that. Hugs to you!
