No Pictures, No Sewing, No Pearl

Instead, my friends, I have COVID
Seven days before my daughter visits for my birthday.
Two weeks before I am 3/4 of a century old.

My new apartment complex has slapped a Quarantine placard on my door.  No one is allowed in until Friday. if I pass the test and am negative.  Doc said to ignore that as the tests can have a false positive up to 90 days..

According to my doctor, my asthma and my substantial body weight cannot compare in risk to my age?????  And she is so very brilliant!

I am finishing day 3.  Much better
Yesterday I could not eat, nor make myself tea.
Today I can...Wonderful!

Doc said that it is indeed true that day 4 and 5 could bring about a worsening of this disease...Dear me.....I have so many vaccines in me...hopefully they are  fighting for me.

My sister picked up some meds and items I needed  TBTG.  She has enough hard issues of her own.  I am grateful for her and very very very grateful I made this move to my awesome new apartment with all my fabric surrounding me.

Interesting note:

  1. So sorry to hear you now have Covid Diane and hope you begin to feel better very soon. The move to your apartment was obviously a good one!! Hopefully you'll be okay for the visit from your daughter.

  2. That sucks that you are sick! I'm sorry and I hope you make a quick recovery. Take good care of yourself and get lots and lots of rest!

(Also, you had asked in the past how to add my blog to your blog roll--? And I guess my answer is that I don't know what to switch up on my blog to make that possible. I will keep trying to figure it out though.)

  6. I had covid in the beginning of October. You need major vitamins to fight off the virus replication. C, D3, Quercetin (vit), zinc. If you can get antiobiotics or steriods take them. Keep drinking lots of fluids. I used a nebulizer with saline and hydrogen peroxice to keep the nasal passages and throat clear and not a petri dish for the virus cells. I had lots of body pain and headache, not so much respiratory stuff. You are not contagious after 5 days, the tests are stupid. I did not take Paxlovid because the warnings were for cardiac patients and I did not want the pretty certain rebound. I was fine after 6 days.
