Today I am 85% better...TBTG 

I pulled out of a random bag these nine patches for a disappearing nine patch.

Boring, no contrast, no large prints...Dear me...but I am now determined to fix it and I did not even want to work on this now...

Face cloths, wash cloths, happy cloths.  I ordered an 8 pack of multicolored facecloths, cut off the edges and quilted  pretty  on the front.   With my grands, I chose soft cloths and children's patterns, with house warming, I chose different.  These are just to give to people who are sad.or lonely..they are happy cloths for face or kitchen or whatever..

And then there are the potholders...I am including a few here...

I had all these things ready to finish at the Tuesday Sit and Sew

Alas, I was too sick.

But, there were ready to go...feeling better, I was on it.

So much fun.

Finishing things makes me feel so good.

Who would have thought from a mess of solid charms...

And as for the old vintage dresses...one was silk and bled to death..donated, one was cotton..about to be cut up and buttons saved and the rest were not worth it..no matter how much fun I think I remembered having in those dresses???  Gone..thx for input..

Scrap nine-patch triangle quilt top finished

A big thanks to Jera for this tutorial.  I think it is one of the easiest scrap quilts with the least work for the biggest bang..or is it the biggest bang for the buck...Anyway, I had a lot of fun doing it.  I was hoping to have it done for basting at my quilting group tonight, but work got in the way.  The inner one inch border is Kaffe's shot cotton and the last border is a batik. Mix and no match:)  Good thing I have a 40 year stash because I auditioned 10 fabrics for this border before I found the one I wanted.

 Also, I am always looking for a quilt that would suit a man if I need a gift for one.  I think that this quilt would...
