The Sunday calm before the storm...

Marsala...Pantone color of the year...This collection is put together by Sew Mama Sew.
I love it and it cheers me up!!
I want it...so I made it my screen saver:)

The cousin birthday party yesterday inspired me to make this:
I had not planned to make it and it was 7pm already...My daughter said...just do it..and of course I did!
Funny that I went online and to Hancocks and Quilt Patch looking for Olivia fabric for three year old Olivia.
Where did I find a 1/2 yard of it????...In my sister's stash:) lol

Charlotte is supposed to have snow tomorrow afternoon for Lynsey's 6th birthday.
She will love that....but then Monday night it is supposed to change to ice.
I will not, I will not, I will not.....
Worry that we lose our electricity and what to do with my dear man!!
Today he is stable and I should just enjoy that...should....should...
Grateful to Stephanie. our caregiver and my sister Charmaine for taking turns spending the night to care for my Mr. O'Quilts.

Always nice when you can shop your sister's stash. And always nice to toss together a sewn item that someone will love.
Easier said than done, but try not to worry about the weather. It will be ok.
Hugs, honey.

Ice and storms sound awful! It's so hard for me to even imagine it! We were on the beach today splashing in the sea! Sending you hugs and I hope you don't loose your electricity x

I love your ability to create and give joy as well as discover joy in so many small ways. That gift will carry you through any storm that might blow past your home. And what a fortress of friends and family to share your journey!! Blessings dear one

Isn't it great when a magic stashes produce just the fabric you want!! That is such a cute bag. Happy birthday to Lynsey for tommorow, which might already be today. I hope the weather behaves nicely.

What a sweet bag! Great you were able to share your sister's stash. My sister and I swap plants (she hasn't discovered fabric:)). Here in Perth it is sweltering and humid....I have just got in from work and the dogs were to exhausted to greet me....just stretched out under the patio trying to stay cool. Hope your weather doesn't get too bad and your electricity holds up. All the best to you and yours.
