Happy Night Before Halloween..

The Loveliest of Lovelies....Pink Muhley Grass by our pool deck.
For Bunny, with love....a potholder to thank her for washing my car everytime she washes her own.
My too-late Halloween quilt top...now with Mary Jerz being quilted, for next year.
Finding random patches to go on my midnight potholder journey.  A chicken, already Wonder-undered and Accuquilt cut....so happy to finally be on a potholder.
Below is a potholder made from my son's boxer shorts when he was 8.  He is now 41....Oh, this momma loves her fabric stuff and memories!!!

For some reason I was rested today...Wahoo....I should be, as I rose at noon!!!
We had a wonderful Halloween party ...the  best ever...hopefully, I will  have some pix to show another time.  I read on the porch, chatted with friends and for some reason.got into  organizing  my sewing room....????  So not me.   I did not do much, but found correspondance scattered all over the place...tomorrow;s work.  I chatted with both of my granddaughters by phone.

I have been missing holidays where relatives come to Grandma's house....but tonight,  I have no candy and no one  knocking at my door for Trick or Treat...and it is OK.  I feel safe and cozy in my apartment.  Tomorrow starts fall weather for us in Charlotte.  It will go from a high of 80  to a high of 67 degrees F.  I will have to look for a sweater,  I guess.
