Loud is the silence with my dear man gone. I am trying to stay busy.
New idea...I have put a picture of one of my UFOs on my screensaver to encourage me on..lol
Last night, I attached another border to my London Olympic quilt.
My girl has sent to Ireland her 16 patch made for her man's mother.
I took pix of quilts I made 30 years ago for my niece and nephew...I always loved baskets.
These were hand quilted.
Day 6 of widowhood...
Week Sunday, the Audobon society came out to put up a Bluebird house in our yard.
Himself went out in the wheelchair with his caregiver to see it...He was thrilled.
Two days later my love was dead.
This morning I saw a Bluebird already in the house...I think it was my darling:)
Mr. O'Quilts has a new home now..and it is not too far away.

Such a lovely gift to encourage you this morning. So sorry for your loss. Seems such a small thing to say, for a loss so great, there really are no words. May you find solace in your stitches.
Oh lovely Blue bird!! does his chirp sound like " go sew". Sending you my thoughts and hugs, always.
Sweetheart, I can't even imagine the void.
Yes! Any bird will do, but a bluebird ....
Sending love, you are in my heart.
I have prayed for you each day and will continue to pray. I have two morning doves that visit all the time and I know they are my parents checking up on me.
That is a wonderful idea - putting the photo of a UFO on the computer background to make you think about it! I may have to do that....
I'm so glad the bluebird is coming to visit you. Our loved ones will find us however, when we need them. I believe I get little "nudges" from my Mom all the time. I hope peace will find you.
I like your idea of the ufo reminders. I need to concentrate on one project at a time and finish it before I start the next. Your Dear Man will always be with you. Be good to yourself. When in doubt sew or pet fabric.
Hugs
I've only just found you through Sujata's Cultural Fusion blog -- sending heartfelt hugs of compassion (a co-worker lost two unrelated relatives to ALS last year and we listened as she vented in order to cope with the horridness of it all).
Please be gentle with yourself -- and may your stitching bring you some comfort.
pretty pretty quilts! Be good to yourself.
