Happy New Years.... Muggs...final block, number 12.
And the family saga continues. I had my Melanoma surgery today. Home now with 12 stitches, totally relieved and exhausted. He thinks he got it all..but the lab will tell.
Can you believe that I had my annual dermatologist exam this past March??? !!
It showed no skin cancer at all..Then 3 months later I get Melanoma...OMG
Doc said that this bad boy cancer acts like that..soooo scary.
On my way out the door with my daughter to have the operation, my sister called.
Her news?? Well, yesterday she had routine blood work.
Today she was told to go immediately to the ER for a blood transfusion.
She was admitted for tests to see where the blood loss is coming from.
I am hanging by a thread here...but still hanging.
My sister...my support...is now in the hospital in Pineville.
Thank God for our friends.

Diane, im so disappointed that you didn't call me. Please give me a call in the next few days. Love you!
Oh no! It truly seems 'one step forward, two steps back' for the extended O'Quilts family.
I hope it is indeed good news about your melanoma & hope the news about your sister is not bad.
Sending e-hugs.
I am glad the melanoma day is behind you and hope the whole experience is nearly done with good news to follow. I continue to pray and send thoughts and hugs to you and your extended family. I look forward to relief for all of you.
And, yes, how dear and precious our friends become as life's burdens sometimes grow too heavy to bear.
And Muggs sails ever onward. I have so enjoyed each block and your expression in it.
May you continue to sail onward as well.
Extra hugs
Hugs to you and your family, I hope the results are good for you both.
Hugs
