The Sun shines at night

The day is saved!!!
I found just enough yellow and white to cut the lattice:)
My friend Jennifer who lives down the street...

brought me this lovely wreath..
Evan met the new boy next door and had a great evening!!
Peggy from AAA Sewing put Dylan's name on his bag and listen to me whine and spill a tear or two.
Tomorrow morning Mr.O'Quilts work friends are coming to fix our screened in porch.
Joan showed up with plants and a visit.
The grands were polite and helped Stephanie with work.
And..so it went..
Now I am going to read a widow book.
Three weeks and three days a widow and I am still alive..

How talented you are! You are helping your grandkids move forward. You are creating beautiful quilts. All of the people in your life who are stepping in to help you are doing it because they love you and you have done much to deserve it. One day at a time life will get easier.

Very nice quilt top Diane. It`s wonderful you have lots of support.

Diane, you can come whine anytime you want! We are experts at whining (giving and receiving!). Don't be ashamed of your grief. As your grandchildren demonstrate, life goes on... eventually your "darkness" will lift.

Isn't it great when you have just the right amount of fabric. That's a lovely sampler , and the yellow does add sunshine to it. How fun that Dylan has a new friend next door. Yay for all the wonderful people around you. Hugs to you.

Another super quilt! I'm glad you're finding time and energy to sew.
