After 3 and a half months here helping us, and working remotely to her job abroad, my girl has to go home. Oh, Lordy...I just gotta take a deep breath!!
I am trying to practice the saying of these parts of the country....
.
"Never trouble trouble, till trouble troubles you"
I know deep down that we will be ok..
She has set a very high standard for us.
She has set a very high standard for us.
I am trying to celebrate the day instead of. even thinking about tomorrow.
As they say, one day at a time.
Who could resist a smile when these two are gardening for me!!

The Gratitude
First of all, the Hospice nurse called me this morning to say that the patch worked and my mother's lungs are clear, she looks great and is preparing for a birthday party for a friend. I am so hoping not to get on that roller coaster that I was on two years ago when she almost died four times...the stop and go of Parkinson's. Up and down go the emotions as my mother rides the tide. Grateful for today.
My son came over with his family to help me around the house...Thank u sooo much!!!
Below is my daughter-in-law. She had made me a potholder to cheer me up and was putting on the binding here at my house today. It was seeing her sew that really cheered me up!!
She knows how to touch my heart.
Lynsey here...age four...having a bit of consequences...lol...washing the door to make up for bad behavior...Zoe, encouraging her on...
The four children....guess who, once again, is not chasing snakes?????
My daughter and her man, climbing the highest mountain in Ireland.
I have so much to be grateful for!!

A cool fabric story by Creative Bug.....
A few well needed laughs from a new Scooter video.
And I guess I have to say that I claim O'Quilts on Bloglovin...Guess I will have to try to figure it out now...like how to put the button on my screen, etc...just ugh!! Change online is just not my thing.
Above pix of MP Lake house view...A wonderful retreat and a wonderfully generous MP! Sewing and laughing and crying with friends...Lucky, lucky me!

The visitor who refuses identification, who hates cats and loves children's books..My Milito only knows that this is my chair:)
Experiment in color and light..love the fall leaves.
Happy fall...by the front door. Great-grandma's birds a-watching.
Good Irish training has my wood all stacked perfectly on the porch by the Camilla bush. Thank you honey.
