Really I am stunned. And, I am speechless, however unbelievable that is!!
Yesterday two women came to my door with a Christmas basket.
I was, of course, crabby...as usual and overwhelmed.
They handed me the basket and said, "Merry Christmas".
Christmas...Is it that time already, I thought.....I asked who it was from and they said that there was a card inside. I asked them if they knew me. They said no.
Well, the kids were getting ready for Karate...Someone had to bring them.
My husband was being attended to by the nurses, someone was bringing us dinner...etc..
I hope I told them thank you..

This is what the card said:
"In challenging times there are others offering prayer, help and encouragement.
May this holiday be just a bit brighter.

To an Extra Ordinary Woman, from 12 Ordinary Women."

The basket contained a daily reader, an angel and 4 $100 gift certificates to Walmart and the grocery store.
I have the card by my computer as I am amazed that folks would give to us in this way.
We are so grateful.
I hope that in the future, I will be able to carry on and pay this blessing forward.

The second stunning event today, is that Mr.O'Quilts has asked to get out of bed.
Excuse me... He has not had the energy for that in 2 long, long months.
Now, he did not ask me...he asked his nursing assistant.
Out is coming the Hoyer lift...Down to help are coming Emily and her man Brian...Back from the garage is coming the automatic wheelchair....
No one is asking me nothing about this, no how...

My heart is still. I am amazed. I pray, as I furtively look for my hidden chocolate to guide me......

I think angels are real.
I am so glad you had a day of miracles.
Oh Diane, what a wonderful post!! It's so great that Mr is up and sitting in the sunshine. How lovely that knocks at the door bring special surprises, and colourful fabric.
Love to you all.
May you continue to be blessed with good things.
