Family and Stuff

My dear man is soooo well taken care of.  He was outside in the sunshine again today.
Thank you Mother...I know that you especially loved him and have sent your angels and caregivers right over here to our house, continuing the family tradition of good caregiving with those who already know us...
Today is my first birthday ever without my mother.  That may seem strange at my age.
This post is a mixed bag...Here, Sunday....
The grandkids having a fun visitation with their Mommy
My sister took all  of them to the Irish  society Christmas party.

And today ....my birthday...The best day ever..

Ah, sweets, I have your birthday on my calendar, but that's no good if I don't look at it!
Happy Birthday, Mrs. O'Quilts!
Yes, it is strange, the first parent-less birthday. But you know how well you are loved & cared for by all those around you -- surrogate parents, & your Mum looking down from above.
Many happy returns!

Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday dear and beloved Diane! And oh yes, your mother sent the angels in a heartbeat of love for you. And my heart goes out to you. Living a thousand miles from my own parents, I had most of my birthdays without them once I moved from my childhood home in Alaska to my married one in Oregon. I miss both of them on every single holiday and most days in between. Love and hugs to you, for you are already so surrounded by both love and blessings. Hug to the Mr. O'Quilts, who like all of us, is so happy to have had you and your deep love in his life.
